3M VentureShield® kits differ from vehicle to vehicle and the Standard Front Kit covers, as a minimum, the bumper, wing ends, front lights and the front end of a bonnet on a car. Some cars also benefit from additional coverage. Full Bonnet Wrap, Full Wings and an Options Kit, which covers areas such as the side sills and edges of the wheel arches.
Due to the size and complexity of the sections of material, car kits are always installed by our approved installers.
In brief, a solution of soapy water is sprayed on the vehicle and sections of material to be applied, this allows the material to slide into position on the vehicle. A rubber squeegee is then used to squash out any solution from behind the material. Removing the solution allows the material to stick firmly to the vehicle.
We recommend kits are installed at our facility in Highgate, Central Birmingham. Alternatively, it may be possible to install at a dealership (if agreeable) or at your home garage. Please see suitable criteria requirements below.
A double garage (with all doors shut) or similar is ideal. We need a fully enclosed area, allowing enough space around the vehicle to work freely and set up lighting equipment if necessary. The area needs to be reasonably clean to avoid specks of airborn dust etc from getting underneath the material whilst it is applied. During the winter it would be necessary to warm the area for a couple of hours prior to, and during, the installation as the material requires warmth for pliability during installation.

3M VentureShield® kits differ from bike to bike and the Full Kit covers, as a minimum, sections of the fairing, headlight, tank and mudguard.
Tank kits for bikes are simple to install and are always self fit by the customer. Full kits for bikes are also self fit, however, we do offer PRO-FIT, an installation service for full kits. Self fit kits come with full installation instructions and an installation kit. All bike kits have been designed for customers to be able to fit themselves – the film is easy to work with and the pieces are easy to handle.
